FAQ: Smart Diary 2

We are happy to announce that Smart Diary 2 (free) has been upgraded to use the latest technologies employed by SDS and is now called Smart Diary Suite 4 Free.

Smart Diary Suite 4 Free can import entries from Smart Diary v2.22. If you are using a version prior to 2.22, you will need to upgrade to it first.

It's good to see the new release of the free version. I'll have to dig out my earlier version db form my archives to give it a run. I should have one somewhere from about 7-8 years ago. ...

Just a polite suggestion below that relates to this entry and more specifically to ask for more support for people using the old version and wish to update to the latest SDS 4.

Firstly, I think there should be a separate forum category for UPGRADE since you are now supporting the free version instead of just an FAQ entry.

Secondly, since users need to upgrade to V.2.22 if using an earlier version, then this version needs to be made available for download.

Hopefully there won't be too many upgrade issues to warrant a separate forum Everyone is free to post in this forum with their issues and I'll re-organize them into FAQs if needed later.

Yes, I agree - please use the download link below to grab a copy of Smart Diary v2.22 if you are using a version prior to that or if you have one of the multi-language ones:
