I know that that is a huge area to cover, but the basics are there for most people:

Moods
Anxiety
Triggers
Medication
Medication effect
etc...

can this be done?

thx

Absolutely!

Most of the things you mention are already covered by existing Life Factors (in various groups). If you can provide more details on what other factors you'd need to monitor, I'm sure a pack can be put together.

Thank you,

Dennis

I'll use the next couple of days to put stuff together; but mainly it would be something where we can chart each day, how he's doing at school, with focus etc. If I'm asking for too much, by all means let me know. But if you can help with this, it would probably make diagnosing my son easier (tentative diagnosis is bi-polar, poor kid), if I had someway of charting his ups and downs, school focus, conflicts etc..

If you need any help from me, I'm willing to learn, and am very quick at it. :-)

Thx ahead of time!
Mina :)

Yes, the best way is to start with the trial and see what Life Factors you will use from the ones already included with the program. After that you are welcome to post what you need here and we'll discuss how best to add those.

Or, if you feel comfortable with using SDS, you can try to create Life Factors - if you need help on how to do that, please ask and I'll gladly give you instructions on what to do.

I have Bipolar Disorder and I have to track my mood using a mood chart. Here is what is on that chart. I don't know if you would need all the information or if you would need to add it but this is what I track on a daily/monthly basis. If I can further assist you please let me know. Thanks hope this helps.

That's great information - thank you!

I'll make up a small pack based on that information and we can modify/expand it till it covers everything you need.

I've put together a Mental pack (attached to this message) as a starting point. It doesn't include specific "medication taken" life factors, as those need to be done on a per-user basis, I'd say. Or it should be just one "medication taken" that would specify whether all or none medication was taken?

In any case, please give it a try (maybe create a new diary, to make sure your real one is clean if you need to change things) and let me know if any adjustments/additions need to be made.

Thanks!

I just downloaded and installed this program last night and already I am finding it very useful. I also installed the Mental Pack you had here, but have a question about it. How do you get it chart on a graph? :confusedsmiley: I would like to see this on a graph all by its self.

Hello,

You can go to Life Factors -> Configure Life Factors, then click on the life factor you want plotted and click the Edit button in the dialog that comes up (Life Factor Properties), make sure there's a mark in the Show on Graph checkbox. To limit what's plotted on a graph to a specific Life Factor Group, just select that group in the chart toolbar Graph Group drop down list.

One of the next updates will also have a new way to control Life Factors on the graph as suggested by one of the users here: http://forum.psunrise.com/showthread.php/488-Wishlist-Improve-the-chart-feature

OK, I added the Mental Pack to the Life Factors, and went through and for each section(mania, depression, mood changes etc) and clicked on the show on graph checkbox. But, it is still not showing up on my graph. Do I need to go through and input numerical values for each response (severe, high, normal etc)??

Yes, you need to have diary entries that use those factors, so they must be filled in at least one entry to show up on the graph.

Hi DennisV

When clicked on, it takes me back to the log in screen. Strange, because when you right-click & save as, it works fine.

Hi,

I assume that you are logged in when trying to download, right? I just tried it (left-clicking) and it's ok. What browser are you using?

Were you able to get it via the right-click ok?

Every time I try to download this one, it says I have to log in, but then every time I do, it won't let me download it bc it keeps saying i'm not logged in?? I have been able to download other life factors, though...

I still don't know why the forum is doing this, unfortunately. It seems that you may need to have at least one post before you can download it, at least everyone here has been able to download after posting, right? :confusedsmiley:

Just to try, I'm also attaching it here again. Can you please try to download it again?

Does it work if you right-click on it and select the "Save As"?

Does it work if you right-click on it and select the "Save As"?

I was having issues with getting it to save in the right format myself. What I found is that by simply left clicking on the link in the post and chosing OPEN instead of SAVE, I was prompted to choose the destination folder and then installed it/them successfully there. Right clicking and saving as only allowed me to save the .php content, not the actual file.
Hopefully this will help someone else.

I want to thank the author of this LF and the persons who gave suggestions for its contents. It's just what I needed, and with some tweaking it will be perfect.
