If I click on either of the options buttons nothing happens. Maybe a Linux issue I do not know.

It's possible that the file that failed during installation is actually required to be there for Options. If you could re-install and take note of the filename that fails, I can tell you for sure what's wrong and then work on a solution.
Also, are you running the latest version of the Windows emulator for Unix - what is the name of that program and version number that you have, maybe I can check it here as well.

I may try to re-install tomorrow and get you that file name Mr Dennis.
I am using what is called "Wine" not sure of v number but it is the latest out of the Ubnutu repositories.
I will see what else I can find out. I am using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron.

Thank you Todd,
I'll try to find out what Wine handles (and more importantly - what it doesn't handle). If it is related to sound (and Wine doesn't present SDS with what it expects from a Windows system), then a possible fix would be to allow you to disable sound completely in SDS, so that at least you'd get to Options.
